Double-wall corrugated and solid-wall HDPE for gravity sewer, storm drainage and soakaway. Smooth bore, ribbed outside, SN4 and SN8 ring stiffness.

Dial in the pressure class first, then the diameter. If you are unsure, send the working pressure and we will recommend the SDR.
SN4 and SN8 are ring stiffness in kN/m². The governing input is the soil load above the pipe, so the same diameter can need SN4 in a garden and SN8 under a road.
| Size | Typical class | Where it is used |
|---|---|---|
| DN110 | SN4 | Garden / landscape drainage, 0.8–2.0 m cover |
| DN160 | SN4 | Driveway edge, 1.0–2.5 m |
| DN200 | SN8 | Road crossing, 1.2–4.0 m |
| DN300 | SN8 | Road crossing, 1.2–5.0 m |
| DN400 | SN8 | Trunk sewer, 1.5–6.0 m |
| DN500 | SN8 | Trunk sewer, 1.5–6.0 m |
| DN630 | SN8 | Trunk sewer, 2.0–6.0 m |
| DN800 | SN8 | Trunk sewer / outfall, 2.0–6.0 m |
Cover depths are indicative for normal backfill. Final class depends on traffic loading, bedding and soil type — confirm with your engineer or send us the section drawing and we return the class.
Double-wall corrugated gives stiffness with little weight — the usual choice for storm drainage and sewer. Solid-wall is used where the line is above ground, exposed, or where a smooth heavy-duty bore is needed.
Tell us the run length, the number of junctions and whether the line is perforated.
It follows the load above the pipe: garden and landscape drainage usually SN4, road crossings and trunk sewer SN8. Send the cover depth and traffic class and we confirm.
Yes — double-wall means a smooth inner wall with a corrugated outer wall, so flow capacity is close to a solid-wall pipe of the same ID.
Yes, perforated for soakaway and field drainage, with geotextile wrap if you need it.
[To confirm — corrugated pipe is bulky, so container utilisation matters more than tonnage.]
