CPVC for hot water and industrial process lines where uPVC would soften. Ivory colour, solvent-weld jointing, sizes from DN15.

Dial in the pressure class first, then the diameter. If you are unsure, send the working pressure and we will recommend the SDR.
CPVC keeps its strength well above the point where uPVC softens. That is the whole case for it, and the reason the cement is different too.
| Service | Material | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Cold water, buried | uPVC or PE | Cheaper; CPVC not needed |
| Hot water up to 95 °C | CPVC | Domestic and process lines |
| Hot water, flexible route | PPR | Socket fusion instead of cement |
Pressure derating with temperature is published per standard; send the working temperature and we quote the class that holds at that temperature, not at 20 °C.
Threaded brass transitions connect CPVC to pumps, tanks and metal pipework. State the thread standard — BSP and NPT are both available.
Temperature first, pressure second — that is the order that decides the material.
Only with UV protection — paint or a jacket. Direct sun degrades the surface.
No. Different resin, different cement, higher temperature limit, higher price.
Yes — elbows, tees, couplings and threaded transitions, quoted with the pipe.
Confirmed on quotation.]
